Our purpose-built secondary school provides a first-class learning environment
I would like to welcome you to Swans Sierra Blanca. As the younger sibling of the Primary School, we have inherited all of the wonderful characteristics that our parents value, while driving our students through the next phase of their education. We are immensely proud of what we have achieved in the last thirteen years, not only through our academic record but by the nature of the students that we produce, who are well-mannered, open-minded and ready for the challenges of working life.
Our Swans Code asks all students and staff to be Positive, Proactive and Proud. It is hoped that these principles will guide members of our school to seek constant improvement in all that they do. Our results are testament to this, with a number of students regularly scoring over 40 points at IB, in some cases gaining a full marks 45, which puts them among the top 0.4% of students in the world. Our work as teachers is based on guiding the students to become independent learners that take responsibility for their own progress and achievement. We are confident that, when they leave us to some of the world’s best universities, they are fully prepared for the challenge and ready to become true global citizens.
Our school is set in the beautiful surroundings of Sierra Blanca, with breathtaking views over the Mediterranean to the South and La Concha mountain to the North. The facilities at secondary help to provide a top quality education for our students, with all classrooms equipped with Apple TV, a media suite stocked with iMacs for our creative students and a drama studio and theatre for school performances. For sport, we have ample outdoor space, including basketball courts and an astroturf football field, with an indoor Ozone swimming pool in the basement. Students in the Sixth Form benefit from an impressive Common Room with kitchen facilities, which is their exclusive space to be used during study periods and at lunchtime.
Our website provides an overview of the school and what we offer to our students, but written words and photographs can only tell you so much. I would like to extend an invitation to you to visit the school and to experience first-hand what makes Swans what it is. Please contact us to request a tour of our school.

"THE CONCEPT OF CHALLENGE & CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT
We need to inspire our students to have a love of learning and equip them with the tools that they need to cope with the pressures of exams, university and the world of work."
