Enrichment
The Swans School enrichment program teaches life skills and provides character-building experiences that are outside of the standard academic curriculum.
We encourage our students to take part in a range of after school activities so that they may be able to express themselves and to burn off frustrations, to team-build and gain confidence and self-esteem.
Not only do our sports teams compete regularly, but our debate team is one of the very best in the country, our Student Council is involved in key school decision-making, our theatre shows are truly spectacular (performed on a professional stage), and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award challenges students to step outside of their comfort zone and experience our incredible Andalucian countryside. We also have a school magazine, named Pulse, and a student radio station.
Our 50th anniversary gala was an extravaganza of performance and art. We were delighted to share the stories of all that has been achieved at Swans School since 1971, with singing, dancing, acting and artwork from our students (class of 2022).
Keeping Swans Active
It is important to us that our students get to know their surroundings. We hike and camp in the countryside – for some of our newer students, this may be their first experience of southern Spain, away from the coastline.
All Year 10 and Year 12 students are invited to complete the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award.
I am currently studying in London and whenever I come back to Spain, one of the first things that I do is visit Swans.Learn More
