Primary School (5-11 years)
A versatile learning experience with colourful classrooms
Swans is a caring school where the children are warmly received and encouraged throughout their time with us to aim high, fulfil their potential and engage with all the opportunities the school has to offer. We firmly believe that, for this to be best achieved, we must establish a genuine partnership between home and school. We pride ourselves on open communication, so if you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher, the office or myself. You may also contact us to request a tour of the school.
At Swans we are proud of our students and staff, and the positive, family atmosphere they create. It's important to us that we provide academic excellence within a supportive and inviting environment where pupils enjoy learning, feel safe and make a positive contribution. Success is continually celebrated, in the knowledge that this will encourage greater achievement in the future.
Primary School Headteacher, Miss Karen, first joined Swans School in 2002. Within just a few years she was given the privilege of leading the school. Her lifelong ambition was to complete a Master’s Degree in Education, and so we were all very proud when she achieved her dream in 2020. Miss Karen is also a qualified school inspector, and therefore always ensures that Swans adheres to the highest standards of education.
SWANS SECONDARY SCHOOL
At Swans, we provide an excellent learning environment. Our results are testament to this, with consistently high grades at both GCSE and IB level that rival some of the best students worldwide.
At Swans Primary School importance is placed on both the academic and social skills that encourage children to become active learners and responsible members of our community. The children are given opportunities to participate in activities with an emphasis on the learning being interesting, meaningful and relevant to the child. This education helps to prepare our students for the demands of secondary school.
