YEAR 4
SWANS PRIMARY SCHOOL MARBELLA
Year 4 is a very exciting time for the children. We study many interesting topics, such as Volcanoes, Dinosaurs and Chocolate. Studying the IPC is particularly meaningful for the children as it is practical, informative and enjoyable. Whenever possible we arrange excursions to link in with our IPC topics. In the Spring Term, if possible, we visit a local chocolate factory and during the Summer Term we spend a lovely day at the Crocodile Park in Torremolinos.
The children also begin their weekly swimming lessons in Year 4 at our purpose built indoor swimming pool at the Sierra Blanca site.
During the Spring Term the town hall arranges for a member of the local police force to come into school and talk to the children about road safety. This is then followed up by a practical test walking in Marbella town, demonstrating the skills learnt.
We are just about to erupt our volcanoes!
