YEAR 2

SWANS PRIMARY SCHOOL MARBELLA

In the Autumn Term the children study ‘Places People Go’ and ‘Light and Dark’. They find out about holidays now and in the past and create souvenirs. The pupils experiment making long and short shadows and find out how we get day and night.


In the Spring Term Year Two´s topic is ‘Dressing Up’, when they find out why different fabrics are worn in different environments, about clothes from the past and present and design their dream school uniform. They also learn about life cycles in ‘I´m Alive’.

Finally during the Summer Term the topic is ‘Our World’, where they design and make miniature gardens and of course they love growing sunflowers. They compare environments locally and around the world.
