HEAD TEACHER’S WELCOME

I am very pleased to welcome you the website of Swans International Sierra Blanca, the Secondary section of Swans International!

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Sierra Blanca, with breath-taking views over the Mediterranean to the South and La Concha mountain to the North, the school is housed in modern purpose-built facilities. We currently boast four fully-equipped Science laboratories, three state-of-the-art ICT suites, a well-stocked library,a purpose-built theatre and an indoor ozone swimming pool complex, as well as a gymnasium and plentiful outdoor sport facilities.

We offer a comprehensive secondary curriculum: students in Years 7 to 11 follow a programme of study which broadly follows the UK National Curriculum, culminating with public IGCSE exams sat at the end of Year 11. Alongside this, Spanish nationals and those with native Spanish language also follow the Spanish curriculum (EP and ESO). Students in the Sixth Form (Years 12 and 13) have the opportunity to follow the Diploma Programme of the International Baccalaureate.

Our website provides an overview of the school and what we offer to our students, but written words and photographs can only tell you so much and I would like to extend an invitation to you to visit the school and to experience at first hand what makes Swans what it is.
